Policy

STUDENT HOUSING

Navarro College will offer living accommodations to qualified students in the form of student housing that enhance student learning and individual development and promotes healthy, safe and environmentally desirable social interaction.

DISCRIMINATION

Navarro College shall not, on the basis of sex, race, ethnicity, creed, age or ability, apply different rules and regulations, impose different fees or requirements, or offer different services or benefits related to housing according to federal regulations.

STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES

Navarro College shall provide comparable, convenient, and accessible housing to its students with disabilities at the same cost as to other students.

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK

Navarro College shall obtain a criminal history of record that relates to a student applying to reside in on-campus housing.
Criminal history records obtained by Navarro College under this policy will be utilized for the purpose of evaluating applicants for approval to reside in on-campus housing.

BACTERIAL MENINGITIS VACCINATION

Navarro College shall require all students applying to reside in student housing to provide proof of bacterial meningitis vaccination.
