After graduating from Frost High School in 1961, he earned his degree from Navarro College in 1963.

He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas, completed a master’s degree from Baylor and earned a doctorate from Texas A&M University.

Moore had taught at Baylor University for 36 years and was The Edwin Streetman Professor of Marketing.

Honored as a Distinguished Professor by the Hankamer School of Business.

Co-authored a textbook and for three decades, he worked with a team of other professors at the Hankamer School of Business to research and publish major findings in the area of business ethics.
